Overview
MERCEDES CAM
Adjust camber or caster ±0.3° using the factory offset in the lower control arm bushings of many C Class platforms. Place the grooved bolt in the forward arm's bushing to change caster or in the rearward arm's bushing to change camber. If both camber and caster change are needed, you can use 2 kits. SPC uses a hex chromate free finish and offers a 700hr salt spray test for the best corrosion protection available.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q1: The 28810 and 28815 kits look very similar. What are the differences in application and fitment for these two kits?
A1: These kits are used on many Mercedes Benz and Chrysler vehicles. There are different configurations of frame brackets and bushings depending on the application. The 28815 bolt has a single groove cut in it and comes with a special washer that will fit the frame bracket after installation. This holds the hardware in place. The 28810 bolt has two grooves in it to fit a specific style of frame bracket or bushing. In some applications, the bolt hole in the frame bracket is a simple round hole but the bushing in the control arm is elongated with ridges to accept the grooves in the bolt.
Q2: Can I get more change than the stated +/- .3 degree?
A2: Unfortunately, not with this kit. As with many other kits, the amount of change is limited by the opening in the frame bracket.
